Camera Bag!

Finally. Yes. Finally. After much consideration, I bought myself a camera bag! I am so excited, so to share some of that excitement with you all, here are a few photos :)) Oh and I almost forgot! A very cute story came along with the package....

One day I came walking down my hallway and this is what I found.

The note on the floor read: STOP!?? Stop here. Mistury package up ahed. Be cerfel. May Explode!?!????????????

I entered my room, with much caution, and found:

A package for me!!!

And...I realized something. My little sister doesn't get out much! ;)

Life As We Know It!

April 19th. He's in the Army now! Preston my awesome-est big brother headed off to South Carolina for the best nine weeks of his life...or maybe not quite that good. We will miss you buddy, but we will also see you very soon! Two weeks down. Seven to go!

Well aren't we so excited to be taller than Preston! :))

Maggie and I headed off to Fort Collins for a nice little photoshoot with her motorcycle. Even after some very unsuccessful research :) they turned out quite nice. Thanks Maggsie!

Dear Ellen

You are home. Finally, after 91 years. I am so happy for you, but then I am sad. In a way I am jealous, but I am comforted knowing that my turn will come soon enough. Thank you for some of my fondest memories. For the baby rabbit that you fearlessly caught for two silly little girls. For the Sunday goody bags, and for all of your stories from 91 years of living. Thank you for the stale marshmallows and the endless supply of candy in the crystal container. For the Michigan trip to Aunt Esther's, and the oversized pencils that you bought us...even after Esther said no. Thank you for the one million year old cholcolate, and for faithfully coming to every recital, concert, play, and birthday party. Thanks for being concerned about every area of my life, from braces, to feet problems, to school papers. Thank you for your constant prayers, my middle name, your sparkling eyes, and your looks of horror. Thank you for your love. This "Young Lady" misses you very much, and I wanted you to know that "I love you...more than you know."

Jesus Cards

In an effort to carry the name of Jesus, Babbs, Curly and I decided to create comething called "Jesus Cards" Please pray for the cards, the people that will recieve them, and for our boldness as we proclaim the wonderful name of Jesus! I hope and pray that each one of the cards will impact a person in a special and personal way. God is good! Seriously. All the time.

To spark the creative side of my brain, I have decided to weekly capture a picture that is parallel to a verse out of the Bible. The title of this project may change, since "Connections" isn't all that creative...but whatever the name, I hope you enjoy!

Wow. God.

Passion has come and gone and with it many things in my life have changed. I could write about everything; large and small that my God taught me in the four days I spent in Atlata, GA. Instead, I want to tell you of the glorious God that I serve. Jesus Christ whom I love and the Holy Spirit who has changed my life. I guess I have always known of the greatness of God and the life changing message of Christ -- sure I've been convicted here and there, but the magnificence and power that I experienced during Passion 2011 was more than just a religion that we are expected to follow. My God is great! He is huge and He is the creator. His love for us and unendeing compassion caused Him to send His Son Jesus Christ. Just think about it. We who were still chained to sin, we who had nothing to offer, we who had absolutely no hope -- and then boom, God gave us the free opportunity to become (literally transformed) the righteousness of Jesus Christ!!! Right there is enough to make me dance and sing and laugh, just knowing that a supernatural being greater than anyone's imagination truely loves me as His child. So I guess all I can say is: Wow. God.
